Button descriptions

Hit Used when you want to be dealt another card. Players can hit as many times as they like unless the total of the cards equals or exceeds 21.
Stand Used when you want to keep the hand dealt to you. This automatically happens if you hit 21 or double down.
Double After being dealt the first two cards a Player can decide to double down. The bet on the hand is doubled and one additional card is dealt to the Player.
Split Used to split the first two cards dealt into two separate hands when they match. You can have up to four hands at one time. When splitting Aces, you only receive one card on each hand. A hand total of 21 after splitting aces is considered 21, not a Natural Blackjack.
Surrender Refunds you half your bet and your cards are discarded and you must wait to play until the next round.
Even Money Can only be used when you have blackjack and when the dealer is showing an Ace. Instead of being paid 3 to 2 you will be paid 1 to 1. This is advantageous if you think the dealer has blackjack because if he does then you push and do not win anything.
Insurance Insurance can be taken when the dealer is showing an Ace before they check for blackjack. Taking insurance is a side bet of half your original bet. If the dealer has blackjack you win 2 to 1 on your insurance money, thus cancelling out your loss on your original bet. If the dealer does not have blackjack you lose your insurance bet and continue to play the rest of your hand.

How does the card dealing work?

A BlackJack Card deck exists of 52 cards, we have given each card in the deck a unique number from 0 to 51. Our number generator generates a random number based on cryptographic hashes and random generators. We call Modulus 52 on the random number that gets generated, this means we end up with a number between 0 and 51. This number indicates the card that has been drawn.
